With Apple’s iPhone 7 to be released in just a few months, more and more rumors about new features are going around. Just recently, what is possibly the first photo of the newest iPhone was leaked. The photo reveals that the exterior design will not differ greatly from Apple’s current devices. However, a major redesign is expected for next year, when the iPhone will celebrate its tenth anniversary.
iPhone 7 Battery
iPhone users have been complaining about low battery capacity for several years now. Despite this, no mention regarding battery improvements has been made yet. With the release of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and iOS 9 last year, Apple created Low Power Mode to help its users save battery. However, no change in the hardware has been made since the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released two years ago.
iPhone 7 Storage
One feature may be included in this year’s line of iPhone is the capability for up to 256GB of storage. An image was released with 16GB, 64GB, and 256GB memory chips, but this is intriguing. It is unlikely that the difference in storage between the entry-level model and highest-priced model of the iPhone 7 would be that great. There have been guesses that the 16GB chip was not pictured as an indicator potential storage capacity. Instead, it may have been included to highlight that the chips with greater storage compatibility are not any larger in size.
iPhone 7 Camera
Camera improvements are also expected for the iPhone 7. Currently, only the iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus have cameras with optical image stabilization, but this year’s models are expected to have this feature in all sizes. Additionally, the iPhone 7 Plus may have a dual-lens camera.
Other expected improvements include redesigned antenna bands and an updated processor. For a constantly updated look at the expectations for the iPhone 7, you can check out this link.
